I put this piece in the San Juan County fair in their art competition and won second place.

- It wasn't until my late 30's that I discovered my love of art. Before that it seemed that I was always searching for something to give myself meaning. The day I started doing art I stopped searching. Creating something gives me peace, and I think we all need a little of that.
