Growing up I spent my summers fishing in Alaska with my father. We sold our catch in the little fishing village of Pelican. The only way to get here was by plane or boat, there were no roads.
It wasn't until my late 30's that I discovered my love of art. Before that it seemed that I was always searching for something to give myself meaning. The day I started doing art I stopped searching. Creating something gives me peace, and I think we all need a little of that.
